PIRATES "Where The Community Meets The Media"
PIRATES' monthly events, renowned media mixers, and joint events with SCBA and other community organizations are designed to give members the tools and contacts they need to succeed. Each meeting takes place the second Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted. Time and location varies.
We need volunteers to help us make our organization successful. Could you please help out?
2012 Calendar
If you've been to a PIRATES Media Mixer, you know what a great networking opportunity it is...if you've not joined us for a Mixer before, you're in for a treat. Bring your colleagues, your boss, lots of business cards and party attitude to PIRATES' exciting Meet the Media Mixer on June 13 hosted by NBC4. June 13 is an off night during the NBA Championship Series, so you won't miss the game.
There are no speeches or presentations. This Media Mixer is an informal cocktail party ... a chance for PR reps with non-profit organizations and media folks to get to know each other and have a good time. Come eat, drink and shake hands with the people who cover your news stories, produce public affairs shows and put your PSAs on the air and support our Ruth Collander Endowment Scholarship Fund.
